The Longwave Pocket Theremin is made by my nephew Jake Rothman in Wales. It is indeed small enough to fit in a pocket. There is a small internal speaker and a line-out socket that accepts a 1/8-inch mono plug. There is a six-inch “rubber ducky” antenna that controls pitch. If you want to control volume, you will need to route the output of the Theremin through a volume pedal.

I keep a small stock of these amazing gadgets here in the USA, to avoid the hassles of currency conversion and overseas shipping.

The price is $120.00 plus a nominal $5.00 for shipping in the contiguous United States. If you want to buy one, contact me via email.

Although most people, including Jake himself, say you can’t play a tune on this instrument, Kip Rosser, a professional Thereminist, thinks otherwise. He has made some demos of his playing, which you can listen to here.
