Here are some screenshots of the Finsbury Park to Alexandra Palace Railway. It was part of the GNR and then the LNER. It was intended to become part of the Northern Line of the London Underground as part of the Works Programme of the 30’s, but the plans were abandoned because of World War Two. It finally closed in 1954. The line has now been converted into a Parkland Walk.
Some of the scenery in these shots is unfinished. The rolling stock is a condensing Gresley N2, Gresley Quad-Arts, a LU Battery Loco, and LU 1938 tube stock.
